Drink And Draw returns to Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery this month
After a long winter hibernation, it’s great to see the return of Simon Myer’s and Nigel John Hopkin’s mega successful Drink and Draw back again in the magnificent surroundings of the Edwardian Tearooms in Birmingham’s Museum & Art Gallery.
And, this one is a kids’-friendly event for the first time too. So, no excuses not to come on down and join in the fun. But, if the previous event are anything to go by, they get busy very quickly with some late guests having to take to sitting on the floor juts outside the tearoom. So, if you are planning on coming, especially with your rugrats in two, maybe get there early?
What is Drink and Draw?
Drink and Draw returns to the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery in April
Drink and Draw is a free social drawing event for anyone who likes to doodle, with pens, pencils and paper provided!
Have you ever sat at the day job and doodled on your work during meetings? Have you ever attended College or University to find yourself sketching on your notes as the Lecturer loses your interest?
Have you ever found yourself scribbling on a beer mat as the conversation at the pub fails to pique your interest? Do you like hot and cold beverages and cool bars and cafes?
If you’ve answered “yes” to any of the above questions, then you probably need some Drink and Draw TLC. Put yourself in place where doodling on something isn’t frowned upon and let creativity soar and, most importantly, drink and draw! See you there!
Drink and Draw Birmingham runs from 6.30pm until 10.30 at the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery’s Edwardian Tea Rooms; with paper, pens and pencils provided too. Check out their facebook page and Twitter profile for updates too.
