Lunar Festival to open a day early for even more music and more fun
With campers for the Lunar Festival (weekend of July 27 – 29th) expected to start arriving Thursday afternoon and evening of that week, organisers have decided to put on an additional night of music and entertainment courtesy of Sensateria; the good people behind some of Birmingham’s remarkable club nights of recent years.
They will be bringing with them Pretty Things, Henge and … wait for it… DJ Steve Davis (yes, THAT Steve Davis) to ease the crowds into the long weekend.
It must be said, though, that this is an evening put on only for the 500 campers already booked, but if I was one of those, I’d certainly want to get there the night before, wouldn’t you?
And, I hear there are still some weekend tickets still up for grabs too. But, be warned, there is a catch, though. Looking at the tickets page, if you do want to arrive early and join in on the evenings events, you will need to purchase an additional bolt-on ticket. After all, an additional night of revelry doesn’t come for free.
Either way, turning a three night weekender into a four-nighter, for all of our readers going; enjoy! But, don’t forget the sun screen.
