The annual Ward End Park Mega Mela returned to Birmingham over the weekend and what a delight it was.

Held at Ward End Park in the city, the cultural fusion celebration presented everything from marquees offering exotic Pakistani dishes, live Punjabi music acts on a stage, a family funfair, a football tournament; and a vast open space to showcase the recreational sport of tent-pegging, involving horse riding.
