West Midlands Police officers have placed a cordon between Belmont Road and Rawlings Road in Bearwood Birmingham, following a collision involving a motorbike. Traffic and pedestrians are being diverted away from the scene while an investigation is underway. Several emergency service vehicles are also at the location.

Urgent police appeal after man was injured in Handsworth shooting

Police are appealing for information after a 21-year-old was injured after shots were fired in Handsworth yesterday. The man suffered a gunshot wound to his hip in Soho Road at around 2.30pm on Friday 16 November, and is currently being treated in hospital with what is believed to be life changing injuries.
