A Birmingham 2022 roadshow event to promote next year’s Commonwealth Games has been taking place at New Street Station today. One of several mini outings showcasing live sport in the run up to the Games, the interactive New Street Station event including table tennis and 3×3 wheelchair basketball, with passers by encouraged to join in.

These are the three men police are hunting in relation to a violent homophobic assault in Birmingham’s Gay Village, which left two men bloodied and bruised after they were viciously attacked with bottles. They are Sohail Khan (24), Mosin Mahmood (31) and 21-year-old Ishaaq Ayaz, all from Birmingham.
