A busy area in the Moseley suburb of Birmingham has been closed off as eight fire crews battle a blaze at a four-storey building in St. Mary’s Row this evening. The fire was reported shortly before 5pm on Monday (14 November) at the junction of Alcester Road and Salisbury Road.

Transport for West Midlands has appointed construction firm VolkerFitzpatrick to build three railway stations on the Camp Hill line in south Birmingham. It is part of the £61 million scheme to reintroduce passenger train services to Moseley, Kings Heath and Hazelwell for the first time in 80 years.
