Police have issued an urgent appeal for information after a father was injured while protecting his baby from a masked robber who launched a “terrifying” attack in Bournville. The robber attacked the victim and threatened to harm the 22-month-old girl in Hawthorne Road on Bank Holiday Monday.

A woman was reportedly attacked at knifepoint, robbed and slashed inside her home in Sparkbrook by a burglar. The disturbing attack took place on Monday 4th February at around 3am at a property in Barrows Road in the Sparkbrook area of Birmingham.
