Police have launched an investigation after a woman was brutally stabbed in her stomach at her home in Birmingham on Thursday morning. Ambulance crews alerted police to the crime upon arrival at a property in Quarry House Close in the Frankley area of Birmingham where they found a woman in a pool of blood.
