Birmingham remembers Srebrenica genocide anniversary in hope of confronting hate and bridging divisions

A evening of events and readings to commemorate the 24th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide have taken place in Birmingham, ahead of Srebrenica Memorial Day. Organised by national charity Remembering Srebrenica, the gathering took place at Birmingham cathedral in Colmore Row and was attended by faith leaders, local children and members of the city’s Bosnian community.
