Perry Barr’s upgraded recycling centre has reopened to residents, Birmingham City Council has announced. The Household Recycling Centre (HRC), which is operated by Veolia, closed in August 2021. Subsequently, a raft of redevelopment work and upgrades have been carried out to update the site which is one of five across the city.
Drayton Manor Park has partially reopened after three months of lockdown, with safety measures in place to protect visitors during the coronavirus crisis.
