Three children were convicted today (14 December) of the savage and “senseless” murder of a 15-year-old schoolboy who they ganged up on to stab almost 20 times in a Coventry park. Babacar Diagne was knifed to death on grassland off Petitor Crescent, Wood End, on the evening of 5 February in an unprovoked attack.
Police have charged a man with the murders of a mother and son in Coventry and a woman in Leamington Spa. Anthony Russell, 38, of Riley Square, Coventry, is accused of murdering Julie Williams and her son David in Coventry and Nicole McGregor in Leamington.
Police detectives hunting for a double murder suspect are now investigating the discovery of a third body, West Midlands Police (WMP) have announced. At around noon today, officers searching for a missing woman from Warwickshire found a woman’s body on Newbold Comyn near Leamington. The woman has not yet been identified.
A manhunt is underway as police investigate two murders after discovering a man’s body at a flat in Coventry last night (26 October). West Midlands Police have launched a hunt to find prime suspect Anthony Russell, who they believe is responsible for the killings of a mother and her son.
