Catana Chetwynd, creator of Catana Comics, has had to pull out of planned visits to Waterstones bookstores in Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh, Leeds and London, which were due to begin tomorrow.
A up-and-coming Shropshire teen singer will help her hometown celebrate the start of the festive season with a special performance at its annual Christmas Lighting Up Night. 17-year-old Jen North from Bridgnorth will light up the stage in the town’s high street for an hour-long Christmas performance from 7pm on Friday 22 November, marking the close of the lights switch-on event.
